Opportunity Catalyst’s Elderly Care job program empowers you to assist in community programs and nursing homes, gaining experience caring for older people. You will help improve the quality of life for those elders who benefit from increased interaction, connection, and care, while the local staff will appreciate the helping hand.

As individuals in Argentina – Córdoba age, they encounter fresh and sometimes daunting obstacles. These may encompass feelings of isolation, limited support, or the heartache of being deserted by loved ones or people who care for them. Fortunately, community hubs and residential facilities offer secure havens where they can access vital support, forge connections, and enjoy companionship.
As an Elderly Care job person, you’ll play a crucial role in enriching the lives of the elderly. Your presence will bring social engagement, encouragement, safety, and aid during their daily pursuits, ultimately enhancing their well-being and enjoyment.
Elderly Care job work can include:
- Assisting with daily meal preparation
- Facilitating arts and crafts sessions

Intern requirements
- A parent or guardian must accompany people under the age of 16 to participate in this program
- People aged 16 or 17 on their program start date are required to provide IVHQ with parental consent to participate in the program and may be asked to provide additional documents to the local team.
- All people aged 13+ are required to provide a criminal background check to Opportunity Catalyst before departure. Those aged 13-17, if unable to obtain a criminal background check, can provide two character reference letters instead
- All people are required to have adequate travel insurance
